Bureaucracy grew every quarter. By the end you needed three approvals for a decision you used to make yourself.

The lead advocated for a raise for me without me asking. Not something I have seen at other companies.

Documentation was chaotic. Half the tribal knowledge lived in one senior engineers head.

The manager was good with the team but not good upwards. Our work often did not get the visibility it deserved.
- 2025-04-11[unverified][avg 3.6]c:5 f:2 g:2 wl:5 rec:4currentworked: 2023 – 2024
The team culture leaned direct. If that is not your style, the first month is a lot.

Great place for someone with three to five years of experience. Less clear what senior looks like here.

The lead was clear about what would get me promoted and what would not. I appreciated the bluntness.

When leadership changed, the whole vibe changed. Not worse, just different. Adjustment took a couple of quarters.

Politics were quieter than I expected for a company this size. Refreshing after my last job.

The org invested in tooling in a way most companies talk about but never actually do.

Attrition was low on this team while the wider org lost a lot of people. Something was clearly working.
