A lot of what worked here was because of one senior engineer. When they left, quality slipped for a year.

The team lead pushed back on our own leadership when the ask was unreasonable. That built a lot of trust.

The team hired for character as well as skill. It showed in how disagreements played out.
- 2026-02-05[soft-verified · web match][avg 2.6]c:3 f:2 g:3 wl:2 rec:3formerworked: 2021 – 2022
I stayed longer than I planned because the people were good. Left when the people started leaving.

The office had a strong lunch culture. Best conversations of my week happened at the table.
- 2025-10-01[unverified][avg 3.8]c:3 f:5 g:5 wl:3 rec:3formerworked: 2021 – present
The lead used to run standups late and no one said anything for months. Small thing, quietly annoying.
- 2025-08-15[soft-verified · web match][avg 3.2]c:5 f:3 g:2 wl:3 rec:3formerworked: 2023 – 2023
The lead was clear about what would get me promoted and what would not. I appreciated the bluntness.
- 2025-06-12[unverified][avg 2.8]c:2 f:5 g:3 wl:2 rec:2currentworked: 2023 – 2022
You could ask a stupid question in standup and nobody made you feel small for it.

Health benefits were excellent and used without judgement. Mental health days were a normal calendar entry.

Sales and product were finally in the same room by the time I left. Not the case when I joined.
- 2024-11-09[soft-verified · web match][avg 4.2]c:5 f:5 g:4 wl:2 rec:5currentworked: 2024 – 2024
I had a rough personal quarter and the team just absorbed it. No drama, no scoreboard.

The lead was consistent. What they said in one-on-ones matched what they said in group settings. That built trust fast.
